KILLGALLON TEXT

As described in class, you are responsible for contributing to your or your group's wiki page below focusing on one of the sentence composing strategies from the Killgallon text. Your strategy wiki page should include the following:

  • A viable definition of what your strategy is.
  • The examples of it you and your partner tried out or ones you created yourselves.
  • 2 or more good ideas for how you might use this strategy in the teaching of language or some other aspect of the English language arts. Consider its potential as an "in-context" activity.

Note: As we discussed in class, keep in mind that sentence composing strategies can be utilized to help students 1) generate text modeled after published writing, and 2) assist students in revising their existing writing using published models.
